Opening Reception for A Gorey Collaboration: Illustrations from Peter Neumeyer's and Edward Gorey's Donald Has a Difficulty, and Donald and the ... Saturday, March 20th, 2004 from 6pm-8pm - Admission Free, Refreshments
Some of Edward Gorey's finest pen and ink illustrations were done for his collaborations with Peter Neumeyer. Donald Has a Difficulty, and Donald and the ... were first published in 1969 and 1970. They have now been reissued in stunning new editions by Harry N. Abrams, Inc., a premier publisher of art books. Neumeyer has added two new Afterwords, recalling the pleasures of working with Gorey. Gorey's original art work will be on view with original manuscript material loaned by Mr. Neumeyer. |
