| GOREY INSPIRED "BLUE ASPIC" GOWN
BY KAMBRIEL: Inspired by one of Edward Gorey's illustration
from "The
Blue Aspic", this truly one of a kind gown is made from
a dramatic combination of rich magenta and deep blue with an
iridescent effect that is ever-changing in different light. The
gown is accented at the lower hem and sleeves with hundreds of
hand-knotted and applied strips in a plethora of different fabrics
and colors, while the attached overbodice is cinched in with
lacing in the back, and accented with metallic silver/black serpentine
sculptural pieces in organic shapes which are individually wired
and can be formed to the wearer's liking. The gown measures approx.
36" through the chest, and its overall length is 57 1/2" from
shoulder to lower hem. This is truly a spellbinding, one of a
kind gown made by Salem, Massachusetts based designer Kambriel
